Finally able to get back to working out this weekend. Since the surgery it has been pretty low impact, mostly walking. Sunday I started back on the Couch to 5K podcast at week 3, had to fast forward a bit as I'm signed up to run a 5K at our big all staff meeting mid July in Salt Lake City, so I have to get in gear before then. Later that evening I was back playing tennis- I had practice for the summer league I play in, but only 2 of us showed up with the coach so it was more like a private lesson, and I got a great workout in. I'm looking forward to our next match on Saturday. And today I spent over two hours in the garden, I guess I never realized what a workout that can be, my legs are feeling it for sure. And in a few weeks I hope to have some harvest from all this hard work. I see a few hints of veggies here and there so hopefully they pull through.
Tomorrow is my first fill, excited but a little nervous for it. J told me they will put 6cc in this first go around, which sounds like a lot, so I'm hoping the real restriction will occur as a result. I'll post more tomorrow.
